College Entry Requirements : :
Our courses are designed for a range of students who wish to work as a hairdresser in a commercial hair salon, film, and theatre, cruise ships, or to eventually open their own salon, however there are some entry requirements that must be met prior to enrolling in our courses. Please note that in addition to these following requirements there may be some additional requirements for each course that must be met, for more information on specific requirements of each course please visit “courses” section of this web site.
In order to enroll, enroll at our college Students must be ::

Eighteen (18) years or over.

Fulfill any specific course requirements as listed in the course information sheets in the courses link of this web site.

Overseas students are required to have an overall minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or any other equivalent English language Proficiency level.

UIC can assist overseas students with 5.00 IELTS score or equivalent to complete their ELICOS in Sydney before their studies begin with UIC.

There will be a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment prior to enrolment, this will be conducted at the interview with the admissions officer or Unique International College's agent. However, depending on the student's country of origin, there are additional English requirements the student will need to meet, to get a student Visa. Student Selection ::
Unique International College's student selection process is conducted in an ethical and responsible manner, Entry requirements are in accordance with Australian legal requirements and qualification entry requirements. Selection is also based on an interview with a college representative. International students enrolling will be interviewed for suitability to the course by a Unique
International College approved agent; thus ensuring that all entry requirements are met.

If your application is successful you will receive an offer letter, an invoice stating the costs of your studies at UIC and a student contract. You can by yourself arrange (or ask your agent to arrange) student visa application process at the nearest Australian Visa embassy in your country.

When we receive your fees, and a signed copy of student contract, we will issue you a Confirmation of Enrolment.

Once your enrolment has been approved you will be issued with a letter of offer and an invoice stating the costs of your studies at Unique International College. Once you have made the payment then we will contact you to arrange your commencement.

OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER (OSHC)
All international students are required to pay Overseas Student Health Cover (OHSC). It is the student's responsibility to check the conditions of this health cover. Please inform the agent or our staff at the time of enrolment if you want us to arrange OHSC for you.
