Certificate II in Hairdressing (WRH20106)
This is a one-term course in Hairdressing. The course
is delivered at the College’s hairdressing facilities in Granville, Sydney
NSW. These sites are close to public transport and shops. This course is
for people who want to gain employment as a hairdressing salon assistant
or hairdressing receptionist. It will also assist you in gaining employment
as a hairdressing apprentice. The course provides you with an overview of
the hairdressing industry. You will also acquire some practical skills in
hairdressing to help secure work experience.
Certificate III in Hairdressing (WRH30106)
This hairdressing course is delivered over a period of
twelve months, including holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours face to face
training per week. Total duration of the course is 38 Tuition weeks. The
course is delivered at the College’s hairdressing facilities in Granville,
Sydney NSW. These sites are close to public transport and shops. This course
is for people who want to work in men's or women's hairdressing. You will
also learn how to cut, shave, color, chemically reform and style your client's
hair. You will also learn about client communication and retail service,
which includes discussing the needs of your client and styling according
to their needs. This course is nationally recognized qualification to gain
trade recognition. You can apply for positions Australia wide and around
the world once you have successfully completed this course.
Certificate IV in Hairdressing (WRH40106)
This hairdressing course is delivered over a period of
six months, including holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours face to face
training per week. The course is delivered at the College’s hairdressing
facilities in Granville, Sydney NSW. These sites are close to public transport
and shops. This course is for people who want to work in men's or women's
hairdressing. The course has been designed to offer training to hairdressers
or those who have completed Certificate III in Hairdressing. You will learn
advanced cutting, colour, chemically reform and long hairstyles on live
models and clients. You will also learn about safe work practices and after
care, which includes discussing the needs of your client and styling according
to their needs. Specialty areas for stage included in this course are face
make-up artistry, hairpieces and extensions. This course is nationally recognized
qualification to gain trade recognition. You can apply for positions Australia
wide and around the world once you have successfully completed this course.
Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management (WRH50106)
This hairdressing course is delivered over a period of
six months, including holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours face to face
training per week. The course is delivered at the College’s hairdressing
facilities in Granville, Sydney NSW. These sites are close to public transport
and shops. This course is for people who want to own or manage either or
both men's or women's hairdressing. The course has been designed to offer
training in frontline management and retail in the Hairdressing industry.
Hairdressing Management is not related to practical hairdressing skills.
This course is nationally recognized qualification to gain trade recognition.

have successfully completed this course.
Certificate IV in Business (BSB40207)
This course is delivered over a period of six months, including 6 weeks holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours face to face training per week for at least 20 weeks. The course is delivered at the College campus in Granville, Sydney NSW. These sites are close to public transport and shops. This course is for people desiring to use well developed business skills and apply their broad business knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. Students will learn how to monitor a safe workplace, in addition to other competencies such as to provide customer service strategies, report on financial activity and implement continuous improvement processes. This course is a nationally recognised qualification.
On completion of this qualification, students may be able to work as any of the job titles mentioned below in a broad range of industries.
- General clerk/payroll officer
- Office assistant/receptionist
- Customer service representative
- Administration officer/ operations officer
This course also provides a pathway to a range of Diploma level qualifications within the Business Services Training Package or other Training Packages.
Diploma of Management (BSB51107)
This course is delivered over a period of six months, including 6 weeks holidays, with a minimum of 20 hours face to face training per week for at least 20 weeks. The course is delivered at the College campus in Granville, Sydney NSW. These sites are close to public transport and shops. This course is for people desiring to work in management positions in small to large organizations, in a broad range of industries. People in management positions are responsible for managing the work of others and reviewing management practices. Students will learn how to undertake management responsibilities such as performance management, as well as managing budgets and financial plans, managing people performance, ensuring team effectiveness, managing the recruitment, selection and induction process and managing quality customer service. This course is a nationally recognised qualification. On successful completion of this course, students can apply for a broad range of management positions Australia wide and around the world.
On completion of this qualification, students may be able to work as a department manager, team leader, or coordinator in a small, medium or large organisation.
